'Prescience', is an extremely well-written and thought-provoking piece. It was a pleasure to both read and review, this talented poet's work. Good luck with the contest! My fingers are crossed for you.

Hello JLR your nonet poem is really good, what I like about your poem is you explain how one can see events in the future. And the events
I foresee, these (preconditions,) check spelling
do startle me!
Also would make me wonder if I going to for see what is myself in an accident.

A very well structured nonet that has a powerful message. You are right, we have the power but most do not know how to use it. I wish I were more open and sensitive to it.

Hello, my friend,
Interesting nonet. The syntax is a little off.
I just wink knowing that this would be!
(Some dear folks I tell, nod at me,) ...I tell some dear friends, they nod at me.
(thinking me this oddity.) They think I'm an oddity.

Free verse here in all but syllable count and an almost successful attaempt at the isosceles shape that is part of the nonet's definition, though not mentioned in the regulations for this contest. Do you really need that ellipsis in line seven.

A well written poem for the Nonet contest. The theme is interesting, and the artwork you have chosen to accompany your work is just right. Best wishes for the contest.

This is an excellent entry for the Nonet Poetry Contest. I believe there is something to this future sight business. I think many have a touch of it. I Found this interesting.

This is quite an interesting submission to the Nonet contest, and it fulfills the requirements. It reminded me of the legendary Cassandra, who was a bit of a psychic, but no one believed her. I did enjoy reading it, and the art work is a nice addition.

Susan, thank you.

I think you are right - we all have felt this. Maybe a premonition, maybe psychic, maybe just intuition or listening or maybe it is prescience.
Excellent poem in nonet form.
Well done.
Blessings
