This poem took me back many years (would over forty be possible?), to when I used to watch these characters on the television in England. They used to make me laugh then, and your still version does now. Thank you.

Beep! Beep! We all know and love these guys! With just those few words you put me right back into antics in their cartoon. I visited my son in Arizona and I actually got to see a real live roadrunner. I was disappointed because it wasn't blue like the cartoon. Actually, it was a dreary kind of brown color. Good luck with the contest!

I'm betting the artwork came first. If I'm right, you made a terrific choice for the 3-5-3 contest with the theme of "air". I remember these cartoons very well. Poor Coyote never had any luck catching the roadrunner. Yet he survived the worst accidents. Your syllable count is correct, and you nailed the theme. Good Luck!

This scenerio will bring many readers back to when they were children. We got our black & white tv and were so excited to hear and watch the tv test picture and sound when it first came on. That meant our cartoons were coming on. Great topic

Unique, fun, clear imagery associated with air and of the course the roadrunner and Wile E Coyote only enhance the levity. Those two really did have a thang going on.
