Your poem here, Mary Kay, and the many prayers said for Jannypan and Tim, and indeed Jan's tender care for her brother, express the compassion and support that can link individual people and unknown families in the embrace of love. How we wish this emotion of concern was more widespread throughout the world.

Sometimes, poetry can approach difficult subjects, simply because it has little and simple rules to write, but as it is written with feelings, poetry rules are totally different from our brain`s . Here is a clear evidence of what I said and your approach to death is totally different and comes from feelings and the impotence to accept an always bitter stretch,,,

Great Job!

Don´t forget to write your wishes for this coming Christmas! Sometimes, Santa has some spare miracles in his huge bag and we are blessed with them!

    Merry Christmas!
reply by the author on 14-Dec-2020
Miracles? Christmas? I've got quite a list of things I'm praying for, for ourselves and others!
    Merry Christmas to you, too!
reply by palmart on 14-Dec-2020
Hey, Mary Key!! Let´s Santa Know about them and let{s start asking for!! I am positive that this is the right time!!

    Have a miraculous time!!
reply by the author on 14-Dec-2020
Thank you, Palmart. Haha, I think Santa's got his hands full, delivering toys, so I'm going straight to the top, with my miracle requests.
I'm asking GOD, in the Name of Jesus! It's not what you know, as people say, its Who you know, and since I know Jesus, I'm asking in His Name. Here's my list:
    1. Healing from my Mom's very debilitating and painful back condition.
    2. Healing of our friend Mimi's dementia (she's only 65)
    3. Healing of our friend Amber's congestive heart disease (she's only in her forties)
    4. Health and well being for our family members and friends.
    5. For my friend's son to be delivered from drug addiction (names withheld)
    6. For healing of my friend Mrs. Belle from her painful conditions.
    7. For the resolution of our financial problems and crazy apartment problems.
    8. For Covid-19 to be eradicated from this world! If God does the first 7 things, then THAT should be EASY!
    9. For many human trafficking victims to be set FREE.
    10. For many child labor workers to receive food, and money for their families from other sources, so they don't have to do difficult or dangerous work.
So, what would YOU like for Christmas?
reply by palmart on 14-Dec-2020
Wow!! WHat a detailed list of Wishes you have at hand! You´re incredible!! It is good to have always at hand. I have a short tale from Southern Italy (My parents were born there): God was in a little town making miracles, and all people went with long lists. A guy was looking the scene and people passed asking: Go there and you have your miracle! The guy was lazy and said: I´ll go and ask later. It happens that God leave the town to other ones, always making miracles. When the person defined himself,, he satrted to look for God and people said: He´s gone and not have time for you as you did not have for him before. And he could not have his miracles done for not having decission. You have the list ready, which is very cautious from you!!

My list is a bit shorter as I loose my mother about a year ago, a week later I had a surgery in the heart. My father and brother has also "left" so we are my two sisters and myself.

    Here we go:

1-My sister will be operated by mid-January. With Covid, no one can help at hospital. I Hope her the Best and have not consequences (kidney´s little tumour).
2- Keep health of my aunts and uncles, in front of COVID. Same for all my family.
3- I have just separated and I need some company.
4-Work for all, so we can keep us alive and busy.
and from now on, I take your list from intentions 8, on.

Have a great Christmas and have always your list at hand,, so you can ask for them easily (not like the tale).

Thank you so much for sharing your wishes, Palmart. Is it Mr. Palmart, or Ms. Palmart?
I also enjoyed the cautionary tale about having our requests ready for God, before time runs out. I try to pray for my requests on a regular basis, so I will make a note of yours as well, and remember them, from time to time.
I'm so sorry that you lost your dear mother. That must have hurt a lot. And heart surgery must have hurt a lot, too! My husband had heart surgery, almost 10 years ago, following a very big heart attack. I am very grateful that he is alive, today.
I'm sorry that things didn't work out with your marriage. Sometimes something sudden can break up a couple; other times, it is the buildup of many things over a long period of years. I hope you will find some companionship and happiness.
I hope God will give you even more blessings than you're asking for. He is so good and wants to bless us, with His Presence, above all. There was no room in the Inn for the Christ Child, but each of us can find room in our hearts for Jesus, by His grace.
May we each find very special gifts under the tree, this year. So thank you very much, and you have a great Christmas, too. - Mary Kay

Dear Mary Kay, thank you for your detailed and full of wishes message!! You made me laugh when asked about "Mr or Mrs?" I am Mr palmart and I try not to publicize too much about myself, except when people is social and nice, like you are. At least until I leave from this situation of loneliness and grief. I am changing / learning after my mother´s absence more than before. And also, from the experience of separating after 18 yrs, but well, it was harder at the beginning. It was progressive and slowly, but sometimes "to shake the framework, changes the look of the paintwork inside it" to put in poetry terms. I feel that I ´ll leave stronger from these situations but I have to pass them.

I am happy that you liked the tale.

God is all and Christmas help us to "return to the base" (at least once a year) to change our perception of the World and of ourselves in this hard social times..

I´ll put your Wishes into my Prays and I promise you to wish for them periodically. I am positive that they may be helpful to become them a reality!

I feel in my body the limitations you talk about, similarly as your husband`s. It was hard for you to find a solution in that tough situation. But the important part is that "the story had a happy ending" and you enjoy each other every single day. I always say " I have a new heart, with 30 yrs guarantee" so I can learn to love again with this "new" heart. I always rememeber that heart is where feelings live in our bodies.

I also hope you and your family a very happy and blessed time for this coming Christmas and have a happy end of this year and a "happier" start of 2021!!

Best for the Best (Mary Kay)!

PS; There was a trade mark called "Mary Kay" that sold millions of lotions and perfumes worldwide.

What a beautiful and heartfelt tribute. I am praying for Jan as I type. I am fairly new to the site, but she has always been so very encouraging. The joy and certain hope is that they will be together again, with no pain or sin to spoil anything. Thank you for your beautiful poem.

THANK YOU, Sweet Mary Kay, for your AWESOME poem for me. I LOVE IT. Yes, it was hard to read--but not because of how well-written it was--because the loss is so near to my heart.

Your new form is super and works well with a poem such as this dedication.

I rate a 6 because of the words, the flow, the imagery, the kindness, and the friendship--not just because it is for me. I can tell/read how much love went into this poem. I'M HONORED!

Yes, dear Jan, I know the loss is so near to your heart. I was surprised at how many reviews this got, but I am replying to yours before I reply to many others', because yours matters to me, the most. Not only does it matter to me that you like the form, but it is most important to me that you understand the intention of my heart, and I believe you do. I want you to feel loved, and honored. I have also lost a dear brother, and I wish I would have had the opportunity to be at his bedside during his final days, as you were with Tim, but it was not to be; every situation is different. Let it be enough for you to know that I understand how deep such a loss can be, to whatever extent one human being can understand another's pain -- only God can understand it more! And it was on Calvary, that God experienced the fullest measure of loss -- can we ever fathom it? But this is our greatest possible comfort: He knows. -- Mary Kay

Hello Mary Kay,
What a beautiful tribute poem to Jannypan for her loss and her brother? This is very special and kind of you. I only had one brother and passed away at the age of 52 years. I can tell you it's very hard. My heart and love go out to Jannypan. I have never met her, but I have met her beautiful heart, as well as yours. I love the artwork you used. I have a pink rose in my bathroom of my mother, that I see every day. When you lose a brother, it's so difficult. God takes His saints in His timetable. One day Jan will see her brother Tim. Thanks Mary Kay for your kindness to Jan. God bless you both richly. Nicely written.

    Dear Joyce,
Thank you so much for your beautiful and very empathetic review, and the six shining stars. Sadly, we all have something in common, which is the loss of a brother. I lost mine in 2005, when he was almost 45 years old -- yes, it's very painful and difficult. I'm so sorry for your loss, also. I also had only the one brother from our two parents, although I had a second brother from my father's second marriage. I'm grateful for him, but he lives far away from us, we're 12 years apart, and it's a much different kind of relationship -- the same with my two half-sisters. There's just something so special about those you grow up with.
Thank you Joyce for your thoughtful comments and blessings. May God bless you also, and keep you and your family safe in these difficult times.
    Love, Mary Kay xoxo

Thank you, Anne, for your kind and excellent review. Yes, I am sure God is comforting Jan, for "His mercies are new every morning" (Lamentations, Chapter 3), but we continue to lift her in prayer, out of love. Loss leaves an emptiness that only God can fill. Thank you for reviewing, and may God bless you.

I wrote a poem devoted to Dammomy (Yvonne) and Jan sometime ago, but I don't think there was a book devoted to them at the time. But beautifully written Mary Kay, there's no greater mission than writing for others in there grief and mourning, and even to encourage others. Well done, blessings Roy

But it was earlier this month, so not impossible. It's a beautiful prayer poem -- I read it, and hope to review it on another occasion. It's really lovely <3 and from your heart.
