Witty poem with a slight political statement...it's go it all.
The puns are clever and work well. If you changed up Santa for Rudolf, you might have had a shot at winning the animal pun contest as well.
I am with you on buying American. I'm old enough to remember when people were craftsmen and we liked to get gifts with beauty and quality instead of the newest plastic phone that year.

Thanks for reviewing! I remember the days of quality gifts also, things that lasted instead of having to get a revised version all the time. All this incessant change isn't necessarily a good thing in products.

Chinese manufacturing is big business and they often don't follow safety guidelines in order to produce cheap goods for the entire world. We have 'China Town' shops all over and they are very popular. There is little competition and I would gladly buy locally produced products. Cheap Chinese prices are off the backs of exploited labour and unsafe practices and their goods flood the market, making it hard for low wage workers to afford locally produced good... if indeed they can find them.
(I acknowledge that is one thing Trump was trying to encourage with his Make America Great strategy for American products.)
