With the picture and the words, it looks like everything is turned upside down. Nothing is turning out the way it is supposed to. Are we grasping at straws?

I am impressed that you say "together" specially in this part of humanity life where we are all "6-ft apart". But I really feel you close to me and I take the full message that together we can make a GREAT and INCREDIBLE New year, for this 2021 that has just born!!
And let me say that despite there´s some distance between us, I can feel your heartbeat! Let me say that "my corner" is a bit far away from yours (South America) but we can solve the distance easily with words like the ones you used in your wonderful message!! You are so right the last two lines leaves the door open for interpretation: the ones that are gone and look upon us, or our hopes that we keep in a higher place.

Yep, this is a little wacky, but I can see you had lots of fun with it. Some interesting rhymes and I suspect a few lines created just to get those rhymes and also tie in with the acrostic.
