This poem is a poetic gem, filled with the sheer joy and delight that the poet discovers in 'things people throw'- it is so convincing, especially the disbelief of friends - I smiled my way through ! This one should end up in the winners' enclosure

That picture is so funny... and your poem continues with the humor. Although your 'affliction' might annoy people, as long as they can get in the house themselves they should relax about it - especially as you just might find some real treasure one day. I am a kindred spirit with collecting free stuff too. Luckily, no-one else lives with me - they can't get in the house!
