Seemed Gabriel came to realize the pitfalls of stardom and was a work in progress to turn himself around.
"She walked up stairs" should be She walked upstairs.
Dogs can definately alert when something is out of the ordinary.
Seemed Kate and Hudson are starting to become very familiar with each other.

So glad that Katherine has friends to help her each day. It's a good thing when she jogs in the morning she has a companion with her, too. She is a very brave lady. Running in the dark is questionable.

-Effective use of descriptive detail.
-I like how you weave the dogs'
awareness and concern throughout the story.
-Obviously, something is going on.
-If I remember right, I think dogs were
give samples of clothing to try and
find Mr. Frost, but it was probably the
police dogs, but it does make me
think about this situation, too.
-The rapport between Katherine
and Gabe is getting better, and
I like Sarah's character, too.
-Have a wonderful holiday!

What would be a pleasant morning has a sinister hint to it. You raise the tension with the dogs growling at intervals throughout the morning. Excellent dialogue to reveal your characters.

It's interesting to have Katherine's mom helping out. She needs it. You really show how difficult it is for a single mom to work out all the details of a job and taking care of the children. The dogs are acting as if something is up. Does that mean more difficulty for Katherine? With a trickster lawyer, a guy could probably get out of jail. Katherine has had a lot to deal with, and she hasn't actually started teaching yet. If she ends up coaching the girls' cross country team, that'll be an added challenge. I would like to see Katherine with a romantic interest other than Coach. He needs to look outside the school too. It would provide a new angle. Great characterization. judi

There is danger out there, and Daisy knows it. The danger stayed after Coach left, so it seems it's target is Katherine. Is it Frost? Or a relative of his? Something is going on, and that's besides what slowing going on between the Katherine and Gabrial. Hmm. Romance in the air?? Another excellent part, my friend. Well done.
