Thank you so much for the review. Of all things to misspell it would be a city you know more about how to spell than I do. I should have looked it up.

As one's kids grow into adolescence their lives start to grow in interest, diversifying somewhat from ours, and causing a little consternation, and then the grandchildren, they take their own direction also, I remember when my elder child married, thst was tough for me, but both are settled and are doing well now. Beautifully written, how interesting our children make life. Beautifully written Beth, blessings Roy

I am wondering about your mom. Was she able to survive the cancer? One of my sons, Jeff, was a ladies man. I used to say he could charm the pants off a nun. I am still enjoying reading your memoirs.

Thank you for the review and comments. There will be more about Mom but actually the following year she came to New Orleans and was checked out at well known hospital and they no cancer. She never had any more problem with cancer. I love the comment about your son.

Yes, it does seem that Don attracts the ladies. LOL. He is always involved with one or the other. With respect to your eldest leaving home for good, I resonate with you. My eldest boy was at University for one year and decided to see the world instead of his second year. We agreed, as long as he promised to go back, the next year. That was when his leaving us began and from then on it was just visits. Your mother seems to have gotten a little better after leaving her doctor. Very interesting.
Your husband wasn't fond of his course and let it be known.

So much happening in your life to keep you on your toes.

Ralf

Thank you Ralf, I appreciate your review as always. I noticed you gave me four stars but didn't mention anything being wrong. I have to ask if it was an accident. I accidentally do that sometimes when my finger slips.

Thank you for the review and comments. I'll talk about my mother again but the bottom line is, she never had any more problems with cancer.

That was so interesting, Beth. I can understand how sad you were when Carol left the nest, it's like you're not needed anymore. And yet, you are, but in a different way. All the children are growing up now, and becoming fine members of the society, that is testament to the way you and Evan brought them up. Another lovely part, my friend. I just found a few tiny errors below. Have a wonderful Christmas, and a healthy, happy 2021. :)) Sandra xxx

Daddy('s) attitude toward doctores (doctors) was as bad as Mother(s).
Don's teacher referried (referred)

It is tough seeing you children leave home one by one. I smiled remembering how my mother who lived to be 92 and good health but had one stroke and died would say about doctors. Your mother and her were cut from the same mole. LOL.
Good one Beth. So glad you are still out front of the garbage writer.
My blessings to you. Sally Law has a great mystery y going very clean.

Thank you so much Chuck. I can't believe you still had six stars. When Mother went came to New Orleans the following year and got checked out at a large hospital, they could find no sign of cancer. I'm reading Sally's mystery. She is a great writer. Bob gained 10 points on my last week. I'm still 73 ahead of him. I don't think he can catch me by the end of the year. Who knows.
