Great movie review of one of my favorite Christmas movies. I watch it every year. It was fortunate that Ralphie didn't shoot his eye out, but he did break his glasses. Great haiku form, and you syllable count is precise. Best of luck in the contest with this fun entry. judi

I've been waiting for that movie to be on TV this Christmas season--that and It's a Wonderful Life. I think enough people have seen the one that inspired your poem so the reference of his eye won't fall on deaf ears. Great job! Good luck with the contest.
