Another fine poem, Gypsy, and Alfred Hitchcock would have been proud of the sight and sound that greeted my eyes and assaulted my ears one day a few years ago when I went for my daily walk around the cul-de-sac; hundred of crows all squawking at the same time. It was unnerving--Merry Christmas

Do you know why they calle them a murder of crows? These crows give out justice as the investigate a crime and then murder is the sentence! They will kill any threat to their existence. You brought the scene to life here with your clever words, much enjoyed and Merry Christmas to you, love Dolly x

Brilliant juxtaposition of nature imagery with the unexpected crudeness of a drunk guy. Startling use of murder re crows--I learned that from a prior poem, probably yours. Stunning piece.
