Thank you for an example of the contest I am entering next.
I love the correlation between the poem and life.
We should always remember to do everything fairly and for the right reasons. And to have fun doing them.
We should not forsake a healthy competition because we cannot do it without cheating or being angry and overly competitive.

I like the theme as well as the form of this poem. I'm not sure I agree with the first line, but it may apply to many of us. (My purpose is to keep my poetry together in one place and never repeat a title. However, to win a contest now and then is fun also.) I was impressed with your rhymes, and the meter is pleasant as well. That is not an easy accomplishment in a nonet. Good luck in the contest.
