This is a cheerful happy piece, filled with optimism for the new year with its brand new start. Unfortunately human nature does not change, so I am a bit cynical. But managing one's thoughts will mean changing one's actions towards self and others. Best wishes for the new year, with happiness and fulfilment.

This is a good poem however the white background is cold and unwelcoming and this poem calls for a warm color. I would consider changing it to light blue like in the pic with maybe a dark blue or gold font!

What a great uplifting poem. We have to believe that a fresh start begins Jan. 1st. While problems hang over from 2020, we can be hopeful that things will be better. Thanks for helping make my day happy.

Oh if only half of what you wished for should come true, then we, all of us will be a lot more happy than we have been so far. Sadly, hate and greed have ruled the day so far. I am sure that this is not what God and his son Jesus had in mind for mankind. So, we have to do a better job of living in harmony with what God desires of us.
