This Monorhyme poem about one of the most horrific things that
ever happened was extremely well done. I think you meant
bright "flowers" instead of 'fowers' in line 19. I wish you good
luck in this contest.

Your poem gives me a chill. I have long been fascinated by the Holocaust, thinking how the Nazis could act like that and others go along with it. I have a fear and anger at the possibility of it happening again and am on guard about propaganda and brainwashing.
Your poem is a skillfull articulation of the horrors, detailing the journey from the little house on the hill to the deathcamps. Repetition of 'kill' in stanzas emphasises the Nazi's intentions.
I was not familiar with the term "a shill" but looked it up and see that it's a Nth American usage, meaning a deception - the bright flowers hid the reality.

This poem is a sad reminder of a terrible time in the history of our world. It is still hard to comprehend that there was such cruelty inflicted on the Jewish people. Very well written.

I find it so unreal and heartbreaking, but it all happened and we should never forget. Thank you for reading. :)
