This one's a pretty good poem. I can picture both the donkey and dachshund asking each other for advice and only waiting for their human to come out and rescue them both. Then they both whine when a human walks by if they don't notice.

This is a cute poem, and it goes well with the picture. Your 5-7-5 syllable counts are correct, and your poem made me chuckle. You might choose a question mark after "What should the dog do?" in line 2. Good luck in the contest!
