This is a cute and very sweet rhyming poem which is an excellent entry for the contest, since it is geared towards children. The picture is adorable. I enjoyed reading it.

It is a nice and very simple rhyming poem. I can see this working for very young children, maybe preschool. Any older and they will wonder about the countdown of Kitties, considering that most didn't actually leave.

And no kitties were harmed in the making of this poem. We can see that since all seven were united at the end for the feast. I bet your version of Hansel and Gretel has the witch extricating herself from the oven as a repentant do-gooder!
Kids will love the rhymes and the clicking consonance in this.

This is a cute variation of five little monkeys. I could just imagine, when I was a pre school teacher, reading this aloud to my kids and hearing them giggle. Then in time I'd have them complete the rhyme. Very cute.

A very well-written poem for children. Many activities start with great enthusiasm and all join in the fun, but soon one by one they drop out until only one is left to finish the task and invited her friends to enjoy the end results with her.

This is really cute! It reminds me of the story of The Little Red Hen -with repeating lines of "who will help me...." and no one would help. So the Little Red Hen served her own little chicks and herself and no one else got any! LOL

Dear Mystery Writer,
There was an old story called 'The Little Red Hen'. That's what your counting poem reminded me of. All the work was done by a few but ALL wanted to eat when it was time. Fun. Thanks!
