Congratulations! I can see why this poem placed in the contest. I love it. During this pandemic, it is reading that have kept me entertained, taking me places where I am unable to go at the moment.

I've loved travelling vicariously, but I was captured so much, as from 1994 we seem to have made many trips overseas, so that what we did, but a bit sorry about Covid, that's stopped me. Well done, blessings Roy

Hi Roy Thanks and yes COVID certainly has put a halt on our holidays
We did the Silo trail in Vic early Jan this year our first get away since last March
I think we will stay in Aus for a while until the pandemic settles
So my friend more vicarious adventures for both of us I find , happy

I think the same as you, Chris, a good book can take the doldrums out of our lives and fill it will excitement. I've been and done everything for becoming an astronaut to a cave dweller.
