That was very clever. I liked it. I have a similar plant from my stepdad's funeral. I could really relate to this line: You need to get your head away from that computer screen and take a look at what's happening to your house. I say that to myself all the time but it doesn't seem to help. My house continues to fall apart while I continue to attempt to write something publishable on my computer. Good job!

This is just darling and so creative. There is definitely something about indoor plants that makes them want to make us feel guilty...I finally got rid of mine. I also like the social message as well as the humor. It just has a good feel. Congratulations.

Everything seems to be droopy nowadays, the news and politics is enough to make any one droop. A fun read and makes a good flash fiction about how houseplants are taking the news.
