That was really good. You used all those words to put in a poem of a love that had been ripped away. I loved the story that came out of those words, and think you have a sure winner here. It's amazing how cathartic that can be physically casting off your woes. For a while I kept a little piggy bank that I filled with noted about my "demons" just like the Bible story of Jesus transmitting demons into the pig. I kept it at the edge of a shelf, a symbolic cliff. A friend noted that I wasn't getting rid of my woes and worries, but sat down having them stare me in the face everyday. She was right. I took the pig and threw it down into the creek in our back yard. I actually felt better for it!

A beautiful story about getting on with your life after a breakup. Told with wonderful imagery, great rhyme and meter. I love the image of the bottle
floating out to sea, taking all the heartache with it.
