Oh dear, I wonder if my mum thought I was a pain in my teenage years. I only had sons, so it wasn't that hard. I can just imagine the argument that came after her dress was scorched. Now I'll wait to see if you managed to sell your house for a better price. I'm glad you refused to go with that man again, he sounded like a right bully! Another lovely chapter, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Thank you again, Sandra. Girls are full of drama and in some ways they present a whole different kind of problems that boys. Stay tuned, you'll learn about the house soon.

It sounds like the family is about to make a big change. Hopefully it'll turn out as well as you hope and the sister drama doesn't last long. I do hope the change will help settle Connie a bit. Sounds to me like the realtor was wanting to make a quick buck. I do hope you find someone better. Your story is well-written, very interesting. Like always, I look forward to reading more.

Thank you so much for the review and comments. The move will be the right choice for us, once we get settled. Christi will always create drama, and Connie has some growing up to do but she will trun out fine.

Oh, from what you told me about Christi, I cringed when I read she was going to move in with Carol. Poor Carol! That's too much to ask of a sister on such short notice. I'm glad Christi moved out. I'm guessing she'll be married next?
Good move to get rid of that realtor. Hope you got a better price!

Thank you so much for the review and comments. No is wasn't a good idea for Christi and Carol to live together. Christi is the one child I have who has never married. She has always had and still does a man in her life. but I can imagine he ever marrying.

Transitioning, as always! I hope you made that agent eat his words. Regardless, he sounds like a dick--it's worth losing a few thou not to have to contend with him. Why did Connie's best friend turn on her?

spring is lowercase (I like to capitalize it too!)

There were some science and math classes he would need to take at a regular college [OMIT: which were required] before he could enroll.

What we could [spend to buy=>AFFORD] in Chattanooga [omit comma] would depend on what we could get for our home.

Thank you so much for the review and for seeing corrections that should be made. Connie and her friend's problem were in the chapter 96 that you missed. She and Lesley went to the same parochial school together for seventh and eighth grade. Some of Connie friends bonded with Lesley, the new kid, and everyone tuned against Connie and shut her out. You know how girls that age act sometimes. It broke Connie's heart for a while. She was bad about doing that to others sometimes so she probably deserved it.

I have been following your chapters and you keep me pulled into the story because I know, as you have said in your notes that you have a conversation with your dearly departed husband. Do you remember the series "Topper" from (65) years ago?

I really appreciate you following my story. I've heard of the series but I haven't read them. Weren't they sort of fantasy fiction or humor?

Thank You, Yvette. Christi was twenty-four. I missed my children as they left but she was old enough. Unfortunately, she will be back at some point. I got married at eighteen and never when back. LOL

I am laughing at these girls. So typical much like mine. The dress thing, no doubt it happened. LOL.
What was it the Apostle Paul said about marriage? Troubles in the flesh. LOL.

Thank you Chuck. I wondered if you would be able to still read my stories from time to time. I appreciate the six stars. Did you read the one before this? It is still paying.

Thank you Grayson, Moving isn't fun for anyone. Most people hate to leave their friends behind.
