Another captivating piece--no need to put $ on these for my sake.

Connie--what were you thinking? (Clearly, you weren't) You nearly gave you parents heart attacks!

Inside, the house had a large open area with a sunken great room and a 27[HYPHEN]foot cathedral ceiling [COMMA] which featured a stone fireplace that went all the way to the top of the tapered ceiling. The large foyer and dining and kitchen were connected with window[HYPEN]like openings into the great room.

Our solution was to bring a piece of our sectional which converted into a bed, a coffee table, a couple of chairs and a TV up in our van.

Thank you Elizabeth. Your suggestions are always good. I really like the rewording of that awkward sentence.

I had to do that once, being split between houses. It was no fun at all. Seemed like everything I wanted was where I wasn't. I'm glad it all turned out alright, that you were able to find what sounds to be a dream come true. I'm glad Connie is alright, that must've been horrid getting that news being so far away. Your chapter is well-written, very interesting. I look forward to reading more.

Thank you so much for the review and comment. Connie was always getting into trouble when she was in her teens. She turned out all right but it was touch and go for a few years.

There is always a reason to celebrate and be thankful. I am glad you had your feast. I am still enjoying reading these memoirs and I am still sure people need to read them.

This was a very interesting and well-written chapter. The ins and outs of where and with whom, Connie and the rest were dwelling. Finally finding a house that you loved while you and Evan were roughing it. The politics of that era proved to be good, but sad in the end with Reagan's diagnosis.
So you are still in that lovely house. How nice. Or, did you downsize after Evan passed away?

Thank you Ralf. We lived in that your for seventeen years and really love it. We didn't downsize but there there were stairs in that house. We went ot an even larger house but on a stab with no steps and even after Evan died I still here over three years later. It maked no sense that I should be in a 3800 sq ft house but I haven't wanted to move.

This, once again was a fantastic read, in spite of the "Spagarama"©G.C.Moore 2015. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Be good to hear more about that new house. Now here we go! She was upset because (he) was going to be moving.

Carol and Glen were still packing to ma[d](k)e their move

Fortunately, Christi called us back in the middle of [the] that night

Loved this word "minimalistically "

Thank you for the review and the spagarama. You Aussies have good eyes. Roy caught three of them and someone else one more but you beat them all.

Dear Beth, This chapter is well titled. You really were living like gypsies, for a while. The description of the house you bought, was very thorough and well thought out.
I just wanted to ask if you still live there, because with four bedrooms, just the two of you would be rattling around, like two peas in a pod, when all the children grew up, married, and lived in other states. (This happened to my parents.)

Thank you so much for the review and comments. We lived in that house seventeen years and went to one on a slab with no stairs but it is an even larger house with four bedrooms and 19 acres. Now there is just me rattling around in a 3800 sq ft. house with a three car garage and big workshop. I know I crazy but I don't want to leave.

Dear Beth, as long as you can afford to have others maintain such a large property, stay where you are happy!

Hi Beth, what a great chapter this is and so much is happening. Connie stays out most of the night but comes back safely enough. You must have been worried sick. And then you managed to buy that beauty of a house.
Only to round it up with a great feast. I loved this well written chapter.
and so would began his long journey= and so began his long journey
All best. Ulla:)))

We have literally bought one house and still live in it, although our granddaughter thinks it "too old", but at 9 what would she know? Heh heh. I always enjoy biographies, and yours is so well written, and your detail is amazing. Well done, Beth, blessings Roy
Typo : Because (he) was moving. 2; Connie called in (the) that night...3: Not to(o) far into...

Thank you so much for the review and comment and catching the spags. If you like where you are living I don't blame you for staying right there. Tell you grandchildren that retro is in. People love that look of the past.

Are you still living in the same house? It sounds very nice and it's a good price to buy it. I will have to come and visit you when I'm there to see my friend.

It will be very cold here for a week. I should have been in Mexico but canceled it due to covid19 :).

Well done and keep writing.

Thank you Lisa. We lived there for seventeen years but we moved to one level place eventually. We really loved that place while we were there.
