A very powerful and beautiful poem, and I did enjoy the comparison between the joy of God and His Creation with a dance. Your poem is a lovely summary of the plan of salvation! Best wishes for the contest.

And the word become flesh and dwelt among us. John 1:14. What a marvellous verse in John, the giver of life. This is beautifully written, I love how it starts out and burgeons into meaning. I love this paraphrased relatable to God, I love the biblical way you followed with your narrative, well done, good luck, blessings Roy

Congratulations on this well-written piece. I'm not really a Christian myself, but my mother is very involved in the Baptist church and would appreciate your poem immensely. Good luck with the competition.

This is a very powerful, and thought-evoking poem that is really striking. It's apt to the praise that worshippers give to God, and captures the emotion behind worship. Beautifully done!

This is truly a beautiful and spiritual offering for this contest. The first gospel I read was the Gospel of John. I'm so glad to see that this was based on that wonderful book. It told me so much in plain terms about God and how he created the earth. Beautifully pending illustrated for the contest win. Sending my very best and blessings always, Sally XOs...

Blessings Sally and thank you for your excellent review and rating. Yes the Gospel of John is my favorite as well. The first person I ever lead to the Lord was by simply doing a Bible study on this Gospel. By the fourth chapter he converted on his own, and said " I now know what salvation is".

I love the motif you have used of the scroll spreading out and creativity entering the world through prose, verse, and dance. "Christ - the Word in us!" is a powerful concluding line... with an unfolding story from joy and innocence, to Satan and Jesus, and the ultimate truth in between. Your poem is well worthy of the 6. I expect it to win the prompt.
