The poem is well written. Opinions are expressed by the author. we the people, hope the two parties can work together to save America. All I can say we are in trouble...economy, racism, violence...

Everyone has their options when it comes to politics. It is impossible to draw the line. The best is to let our justice stem takes care of it.

Congratulations on your first place finish! It looks like we all managed to stick to the contest rules. Hooray for all us entrants! It was a challenge though, wasn't it?
The mention of guns in conjunction with healing is a little off-putting to me, but it balances with your pro-choice stance, so never mind!
I haven't read all the comments yet, but has anyone mentioned how cool it is that "America" is in the exact center of the poem? That was very nicely done! The middle is certainly where we heal in politics.
