Melissa,
This poem tells a simple truth that we sometimes take for grranted. We won our rights through war and we still try to keep them through it too.
Keep writing and stay healthy

I love this presentation with the well chosen picture to go with your wonderfully patriotic Naani poem. This is very well done and I wish you all the luck in the upcoming contest.

A fine tribute to those who have died for our freedoms. Your Naani poem is a well-written reminder of this, and the accompanying image is just right. Good wishes for the contest.

A thoughtful naani poem with syllables that fall within requirement. I like the rhyme - choice / voice - in such a small space. Our forefathers had a tough life paving the way for our future. Their struggle was our freedom. Something to always commemorate. Good job. ~DD

Your presentation is a great way to reinforce the debt of gratitude we owe to the sacrifices of our forefathers, enabling Americans to live with freedom, a choice, a vote, and a voice... all wrapped together very neatly within the limited syllable requirements.

In this Naani you emphasize in less than 25 syllables why those who serve(d) in the military must be remembered. Because of them we CAN vote and express ourselves. Rod

This is a nicely written Naani poem. I like your words. Our forefathers died to give us freedom , a choice a vote and a voice.... never forget. Very fitting photo to go with your poem. Well done.

Yes, this Naani reminds us of the ultimate price paid by those who went and fought and died on the battlefield and whose sacrifice 'give us freedom'-the ultimate sacrifice made

Very nice poem for this form, with a terrific message. It's a tribute to every colonist who fought, those who composed and signed our founding documents, and everyone who has served since.

Your naani is in great form, Mystery Author. Great topic that is well-expressed in true words. The picture is supportive, too. Your message is loud and clear, although don't listen. Best wishes.
Respectfully, Jan
