This is a fine tribute to your wise and often humorous mom, Sal. She clearly raised you well, and certainly was right about Jackson and raising children. Evidently, she well prepared you to handle your own life's adversities and rise above them. Accordingly, it is no surprise that she lives on in your mind and heart, and always will. Superb.

I love these memories of your mother.
I also love that picture...looks like a Norman Rockwell.
My favorite were the bra, the black dress,

Your renderings about your mother are lovely to read. It's so wonderful that you remember all her witty sayings. Those we love, although they are gone, never leave our hearts. With our mothers, memory is the knowledge that we were once a part of them. Her taste in music was good. I love that song as well.

This is a moving account. You took a clever approach. I am certain many writers were reminded of some of those characteristics of their mother. I brought some of the sayings my mother used to say too. This was a great approach.
