this poem expressing what alcohol can eventually do. I found the words sad with a message. The poem flows and connects well. The artwork is great and made me smile!

I just almost called you by name...
Though it probably wouldn't have mattered, I guess, since no one can see these reviews but you, right? Anyway, this was a fun and whimsical piece. The image started it off and I couldn't help but smile - knowing I was going to be in for a treat.
The poem was strange and irregular... but that was fine. I don't think anyone who had been drinking would be able to keep up with meter and scansion perfectly, right?
This was a unique and creative entry for the contest. Good luck!

The title of your poem is brilliant and the poem is even more so. My favorite stanza is:
"I damn the drink
That let me slip
And with that sip
