This is a good entry for the
Why do you write? writing prompt entry. It strikes a chord in me because the you started so young. I also was given diaries / notepads by my school to fill in every day from as soon as I could write. Unfortunately, we were a stupid family. We didn't keep my notepads and consigned hundreds of Chapter 1: locked in a room; Chapter 2: found the key to the rubbish bin a few years ago. All titles the same, but unique content.

I'm not sure what compels me so,
but I must write, this much I know.
