This is a deeply moving work with many layers and hidden truths. It already has its own music, and could also be rich material for a choral composer, something perhaps already alluded to in your text. Thanks for putting this work out there.

Thank you for your wonderful and encouraging comments, my musical talent is Zip, but words I can play with like (revenge) something I really need to work on-but hey we all have our moments and as long as we get the chance to correct our bad ones we should be OK. very much appreciated****kahpot

I actually do compose (the poetry is for fun) and could imagine working with this material or an adaptation of it if you were to give me permission to try a sketch of it and maybe get a sight reading or performance of it at some future Christmas. I have not written serious works for choir yet but I have sung in some and have good teachers who could help me with that, and know of a choir or two that might have the capability to do it justice. Currently reading through Stephen Sondheim's autobiography; sometimes poetry has so much music in it already that it cannot easily be set, but I could see this working.

A very good entry for this contest. Writing is a way of expressing oneself. It helps me talk myself through all kinds of troubles and by the time I'm finished, I usually know how I'm going to handle the problem and it's always in a calm reasonable manner. I like to think that writing is my way of thinking things through. I list the good parts and the bad and then I usually l have my plan. Good luck with the contest!

I write only about my experiences and places I have seen and my opinions about people, places from a personal perspective. Some times words like yours about people allow me to know them though we've never met, scenes I can vision though never seen, yours and all FS story tellers give me knowledge I've never known, for some, words can be all they can see, as always very much appreciated
