Excellent. I can see why this poem won the contest, it is terrific. I love the way it rhymes. I grew up when most poetry was of the rhyming type and I guess I grew accustomed to them because I still prefer them. Nicely done.

this wonderful and flowing tale played out very lyrically... had a little song playing out within my mind whilst reading.
I saw that this wonderful composition won the drink poetry contest... and I know why.
Very witty and flowed so beautifully with a very cautionary tale... I'm just glad I don't drink after reading... hmmmm, or was it singing this winner of a poem?

This narrative poem is nothing short of a masterpiece--exceptional in all respects! The storyline is well-detailed and logical, the main character believable, the moral crystal clear. Love the wicked humor there at the end. :-)

Oooh! What a clever story poem! At least the potion wears off and she doesn't force anyone to stay with her forever. I guess shes hoping they'll wake up and like what they see. Kind of sad really. Maybe she should try Match.com
