Yes indeed, whatever we allow ourselves to be rooted and grounded, provided it has some infallibility to it, then that should philosophically and morally bind us in its solid reassurance. Bless you, this is a "corker", (you'll have to look up Aussie words for that meaning) well done, blessings Roy

A few years ago, while my wife and I were in town to attend my father's funeral services, my father's youngest brother drove past a house and said to me; "This is the house you were born in." I was 63 years old at the time and I marveled at the condition the house was in, it still looked totally livable, in need of no repairs as far as I could tell. Your remarkable poem caused all of the feelings I experienced that day to come rushing back to me. Thank you so much.

This is a wonderful story, told in flowing blank verse, and very well written. It keeps the reader's interest throughout. It keeps to the theme, and is imaginative and creative. The photo is well-chosen, a great support for your poetry.
