If there was a way, I'd find it today,
It reminds me of my mother when she worked in a sweat
a factory, in the clothing industry.

Nice Poem and well directed words to the most loved person for you!! It is important to remember that we go back to her all the time we need love. Your description is perfectly understandable from an adult point of view, as when we were young there are things that are not so clear for our minds. Great expression in the picture! I'm afraid most of have the same regrets after our parents are no longer around - it's as we get to their age do we understand more about what drove them to their actions. Thank you for sharing this poignant tribute to your mother.

I liked you description of her smile as:

This is so true of the Mona Lisa.
The whole thing is a fine tribute to your mother. I think a lot us feel a bit like that about our mothers.
