I thoroughly enjoyed the read! Poem is well-deserving of all of the recognition. Your ability to use the English language so poetically is a genuine gift. I also love the message portrayed throughout to support your journey and experience from dust until dawn, ending with words embracing the new day:" I am one with the dawn as the daylight unfolds!" Entire poem beautifully penned.

    Hello Cecilia. Thank you so very much for the stellar review and comments. I also reread it sometimes for the peace that comes to me as I realize anew that we are on journeys and not all things are understood, but we can trust God... my son told me it read similar to Psalms 23 when we get to the part beside deep water. Thanks again.

What I love most about this poem is how you managed to bring your thoughts to life. I feel like poetry is a great way to see things how other see things and feel how others feel.

This flowing poem uses nature as a metaphor for searching and finding faith.
It reminds us not to stress for the answers and let faith lead the way.

I enjoyed reading your well-composed poem, Melissa. Your lines read well with great imagery. The image choice is beautiful and reinforces the idea that communing with nature is a way to calm one and give time to reflect on His blessings.

Really lovely poem. We too often struggle to find an answer, and sometimes there are none, not right away. It's hard to just trust the Lord, but so wonderful to know He is in control and has all the answers. Hope you do well in the contest.

Although I am not overly religious I thoroughly enjoyed this journey, your first stanza set my imagination for the rest of this excellent read, if I may and you have the time could you briefly explain "Amphibrach meter" for me, best wishes for your contest****kahpot
