Good Morning, Melissa!
Oh my goodness! I just used my last sixth star on your rhyming quatrain offering! Too funny!
Well, this offering is equally deserving of six stars! Again, you set the most serene tone for the reader; it is enveloping and embracing. I so appreciate your final line:
"I'm one with the dawn as the daylight unfolds."
But what truly resonates with me is the truth expressed in this stanza:
I journey past midnight and struggle with blindness
unsure of the way and which course I should to take.
Devoid of direction, which pathway to follow,
I find I've arrived at the shores of a lake.
And there I shall find answers and perhaps peace...
