Hi Beth, you actually answered what I was going to ask reading this lovely chapter. You do seem to have a handful with all your children, and not surprisingly so. But it is good to see that you and Evan, seem to grow closer during this period as well. Indeed, what to do about the Mississippi house? Ulla:)))

Thank you for the review and comment. As to the Mississippi the final decision on that won't come for ten more years. There will be some temporary solutions.

Hello Beth,
Smiles to you for telling us of what you did on your own sounds like a chore , but not you, you have a special way of keeping us enjoying what all your ( family) did and plan on doing.
Gert

Dear Beth, I am so glad that in this chapter you had a moment to talk about yourself and Evan and the things that you did. I am so glad that you enjoyed them together. Because so much this Memoir, has been filled with the disasters that befell, your children.

Thank you for the review and comments. I was afraid it was beginning to sound like we had no life except for stressing out over the children. We had a good life but the crazy thing kids do, sort of stand out more than the happy moments.

Just a really nice post. I'm a sucker for non-fiction and think we should see more of it on FS. Just a couple of observations below. Bill

--appreciation of her boyfriend, and (don't need comma)
--spend almost all of their free time (might seem petty, but drop 'of')
--which was an apt name, since (don't need comma)
--that students know all of the bones (petty again, drop 'of')
--a break, because he was stressing (don't need comma, not really two clauses)
--than it had every been (ever, not every)
--and I were in agreement (rather than were in agreement, much more concise to just agreed)
--MIssissippi (slight misspell on Mississippi)

Thank you Bill, I appreciate your review and comments and the excellent help you offered. I do tend to misplace commas at times.
I hope you stop by again.

Well, a lot happened in this part! It seems as if Connie's new boyfriend, Lenny, is a great help in getting Connie's grades up, ad calming her down. I'm glad her cat was found, that is so upsetting. I know what that's like.
Christi's phone bills, oh, don't our kids know how to do that! My sons now that the pleasure of finding that out with their own teenagers. LOL.
I could understand Carol feeling that she and Glen were being used for a holiday home. Well, now you and Evan have to sort out your home in Mississippi. Another great chapter, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx

Thank you Sandra, I really appreciate the review and the nice comments. There is never a time in life with all the problems are behind us. That is what makes soap operas like real life.

Money issues and children always put a strain on marriages for sure, but it seems that you two managed to keep them from destroying your relationship. Having fewer kids at home really made a difference too. Interesting chapter, and well written, Beth.

Thank you so much for the review and comments. We would have even fewer kids at home, and we were looking forward to that.

The cat thing speaks well of Connie. 100points for Connie and her dramatic performance. I would keep the Mississippi estate as a J. I. C. I always had a back up place for you never knew when a marriage goes sour or other needs.
Good one Beth.

I can't believe you actually had six stars left on Tuesday. Thanks for giving them to me. So you always had a back-up plan in case the marriage went sour? You surprise me. Just kidding. Thank you so much for the review and comment. Christi was quite the actress. She still is but it doesn't usually work so she gets her way. I really appreciate the stars.
