This is beautiful, and congratulations on your win. I hadn't seen your nonet before as it was for a "blind" contest. It looks beautiful, and the rhyme is elegant. Great alliteration with sandy and shores. You aptly describe the soothing effect of the ocean. It is wonderful to find a please that is so soothing. If it isn't the ocean, it can be some other peaceful spot. Great work! judi

Natural sounds calm me especially the ocean. You advice is right on, seeing what Mother Nature provides for us, can only make one grateful just to be alive. That can lift you up out of your despair.

I live in the mountains and walking in the woods , listening to the creek flow are very relaxing too for the body, mind and soul.
