This is a very personal and well written poem. Its difficult to express such raw and real trauma as elegantly has you have here. Thank god you had your mom to help you. Good luck in the contest

This is definitely a heart felt self expression and shows that the author has insight and self awareness into her own psyche. I notice the lack of imagery which I think would improve the poem as would the use of a strategy such as deploying simile or metaphor. The rhyme scheme works ok.

This is a nicely written poem. It has a great flow and rhyme scheme. OCD is a very challenging thing to overcome. You did well to overcome this. I too have struggled with this. Not easy.its a constant battle. Good luck in the contest.

Your poem is really well done! You've done an excellent job of describing how OCD develops, what it is like, and how you overcame it. Congratulations! I've had OCD tendencies, as well - mostly when I was younger - so I can relate!

I happen to live with someone who has OCD and it really came out when I had a catastrophic illness. While today it has subsided there are still remnants left. Thank you for sharing. Good luck in the contest.
