This was good. I am glad I picked it up this morning. Looks like the next was emptying some more. You have left us hanging for the next chapter which is a good thing. No spags!

Dear Beth, I don't know what will prove to be the most exciting disaster. Don's finally proposing to Kimberly, OR what will happen at the rehearsal dinner that's coming up in the next chapter. Please post soon.

I love reading about the kids growing up, Don reminds me of my Elder daughter's hubby , when Nick proposed he hired a limousine, and toured the local wine district he was an impoverished student at the time, but he's got a great job now and is very generous, he can't do things in half measures. Rock Hudson was gay also, but he died of aids. But it works out in the end. Well done, blessings Roy

Full speed ahead. Your family never stops, like the battery that goes on and on. All in good stead though. They certainly are connecting with each other nicely. The line that Don came up with is ste

Well Christy, Rock Hudson was queer as a 7 dollar bill. The women adored him.

but Don had gone too far to back down now. Soaking wet and shivering from the cold, Don got down on one knee and proposed.
Well done Don.

Good one Beth.

Wedding can be a real mess. I am glad I had boys and they were still a mess. LOL I did enjoy every one of them. Only one more to go, if he ever gets married. LOL I do enjoy reading.

Thank you again. I gone through four wedding with my children and another is planned for October. Unfortunately they have not all lasted. I only have four children and one of them has never been married.

I really enjoyed reading this chapter of your family's story and laughed out loud in a couple of places - notably when you tried to submerge your cats! And, you've ended with a cliff hanger. I can't wait to read what happens at the rehearsal dinner.
One small typo in the section where Don and Kimberly are trying to outrun the storm:
"...toward a lower lever." [level]

Poor Don. He tried to do something romantic for the proposal, but mother nature had other ideas. At least she liked the ring. You had another busy time. I've had my experiences trying to bathe cats. I can feel your pain.
And now you've left us with a mystery! Well done.

Only one small thing: "but Don told (her) she

Yes, I know the purpose of this mock writing, this biographical non-fiction or essay speaks expressively in a structured order how another tragedy was to happen in your family; well said, well done; thanks for sharing this. ALCREATOR
