The three poems work well together. I like the transition from the flowers dropping petals to the ants underground to the water underground growing new flowers. I confess I've seen these flowers in lots of places but never really thought about them. Great job!

A colourful poem of regeneration, I love how you've had the sensitivity and presence of mind to show how the waterlogged ants get an opportunity to ride the rain wave. Beautifully pictured and wonderful colour scheme for the font.

Congrats on your prize for this gorgeous poem. Stunning imagery--the ants riding rain-waves is star-worthy in itself. Glad I caught up to this one. Cheers. LIZ

Gypsy,
This is a very colorful presentation of your poem. It shows the rainbow colors. It shows how all of nature works together to keep life going.
Congrats on your second place finish in the contest.
Keep writing and stay healthy

I like the way the poem cycles back to coneflowers at the end. Cycle of life.

Over all it's an enjoyable read, Gypsy. The beginning is all colourful drama which piques the reader's interest. A contrast to the silent underground nurturing trickle at the end.

Not quite sure about the second stanza. It's creative, anthills are conical like the coneflowers. And the sequence is right. But something's not working for me here. Can't put my finger on it or I would tell you.

Best wishes for the contest

Stay safe healthy and blessed

Julia

Thank you for the feedback, Julia. I would like all my poems to be perfect but it's a hit or miss thing. I'm okay with that. To me, I was picturing the raindrops going through stages as they go down ...flower...ants...soil

Smiles to you about your 6/ 3/ 6 poem
What make me smile, cause I have cornflowers as part of my flower garden. What makes me happy about them, they come up every year. For the past eighteen years

Excellent entry into this contest, and what a beautiful job you have made of publishing. And each stanza illustrates the cycle of life and how those deeper things we don't see make something truly beautiful.

Wishing you great luck with the voters, Gypsy. :))

Gorgeous poem and botanical lesson all in one. And it gives me a deeper meaning, too. People can be beautiful on a surface level but deep inside, they could be growing and absorbing spiritual nutrients to continue to grow in beauty.

You always get the meaning of my poems and more....things I didn't think about. A lot of my poetry is intuitive. Thank you very much, my friend. I'm glad you like it. I always think of you when I write about flowers. I picture you in your garden.

Very well written, I love poems about nature. It reads easily and tells a lot about flowers in general. I like the part about the ants riding the rain wave.
