Your poem is excellent. You carry your rhythm scheme throughout your poem and you have a good meter in the poem. You have definitely met the criteria of the prompt. This poem is heart wrenching. I guess because I can relate to it as perhaps others can as well. Thank you for sharing this deepest and most tender part of yourself. Good luck on the contest!

It is hard to be the left-behind and broken-hearted one. There are just so many conflicting feelings - which I thought your poem did a great job of
presenting. It's not all cut and dried.
I thought the presentation was lovely and the double rhymes in each verse stepped up the skill and difficulty. Nice job. A worthy entry - good luck!

Changing the color of the text added a great impact to the poem. I could feel the emotion in the writing. There was no doubt of the pain felt from the broken heart.

It is always worse for the one that is left but if he is not coming back there is no point in waiting. Get out there and live again. It can be even better second time around.

This poem is heartbreaking. You have done an exceptional job of creating a very emotional piece. Your illustration is also very fitting. I like how you changed the color of the font to match the emotions as well. Nice work!
I did see one typo however, drowning in "you" charms. Just thought you might like to know.
