Hello Leann.
Life has become treacherous, and in many ways cheap, in parts of our society. In my day, two guys would get ready and "duke" it out. A bloody nose, knot on the head, or bruises were all that resulted, until the next round. The sad story is well told and I wish you good luck in the contest.

How sad. Killed while doing something good for the community. Those gang members don't want anyone messing with their possible recruits. I'm so sorry this happened.
