Will I'm guessing Nordic? Perhaps a Swede? You certainly gave enough clues, and if I got it wrong it's my own fault. Well done. Best of luck in the contest.

This is an excellent contest entry, Yvonne. Your words are descriptive and in general, but the way you adhered to the rules is super. I could picture this stranger as I read. You lines read smoothly. I enjoyed reading it . You highlighted the important attributes of this gentleman. Based on the blue eyes, blond hair, and the way he pronounced words with a 'v' at the start, I believe he is from Sweden. When you heard his accent and got to thinking about the sleigh bells, gingerbread type houses, snowy mountains, and sleigh rides while snuggled in furry blankets, that let me know I am right (hopefully). This is one of your best prose pieces (all a best, but this is better than the best). Best wishes in the contest.
Thanks for haring.
Respectfully, Jan

Thank you. I'm speechless in receipt of such an awesome review. You got it right. At least, someone from Scandinavia. Sweden was in my mind at the time. Thank you so much for truly wonderful review.

Love your story! And it is true that sometimes we love the sound of a person's voice and pronunciation as much as the rest of person. You made this into sweet romance with a Norwegian man!
