I have never heard of this mushroom before so I have been educated here! What an amazing wild Lion's Mane, how fascinating. The shops occasionally sell unusual varieties of mushrooms but they are not popular, but I would love to try this one, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

Interesting play on words. Thank you for providing so much information about your subject matter. It was an education. The picture is a nice addition to this work. Well done.

    Hi,

I think they are now cultivated world wide. Host Defense Mushrooms at Fungi Perfecta in Washington State sell supplements and ready kits to grow them outside in your yard. North Spore of Maine sell little spray and grow boxes to grow indoors. Check those out if you like.

Thanks for your wonderful review and interest!

Looks like a shaggy powderpuff and a beautiful one at that. Thank you for introducing me to something new...I have never seen this type of mushroom. Smiles, Carol

I love mushrooms, but I've never tasted this particular member or part of the fungus family. But I love your recipe for making even more delicious that they already are, well done, great entry in this contest, good luck, blessings Roy

Thank you very much for teaching us something new about the mushroom World!! Your work is direct (as it is required by the tight quantity of syllables) but nice and fresh. My GrandMa collected mushrooms and always did the Important test: check if they were poisonous: she put a part of the mushroom one full night with garlic. If the following day it was dark, it cannot be eaten... Congratulations for the nice poem!!

Hi, great info. I will try the test on my next batch of mushrooms from the Farmer?s Market. I would never trust myself with foraging.

    Thanks for the superb review!

A pleasure to interchange information like this one: My GrandMa came from Southern Italy and there, to cook mushrooms was common and to test them as well.

    Have a perfect week!!
