Lol, maybe the kept losing track of the count when they read your words for (five A.M.) and kept adding 5 and then one for "A" and another for "M"

Fie on you for casting aspersions on your fellow writers. Okay, sometimes I get screwed up counting syllables. That doesn't mean I can't count words. But what about those multiple-hyphenated ones? What if I have twenty of them? Do they count as one word? Two? Maybe even three? Gotta go. I have a headache.
BTW, "word count contest" should be "word-count contest." If you fix it, do you have to add another word? Adjectives are easiest to add.
