Kahpot,
This is a very lovely poem with strong emotions and images.
Life is fragile sometimes, but your unshattered em glass demonstrates how beautiful and resilient life can be.
Excellent poem, Kahpot.
Blessings, Cindy.

This is a really lovely, vividly descriptive poem. It movingly expresses a message about the power of light to pierce darkness--literally and figuratively.

This is a beautiful response to the club challenge. This kanshi captures the poignancy of life being preserved as memories on unbreakable glass. Some events in our lives are so powerful that the impression left behind is like etchings on glass. They will never fade.

Our memories are in stained glass windows that come alive whenever we want them to. Just think of a certain person or something you had done together and move back as the entire experience will unfold in an instant.

Kym,
This is an interesting form and thank you for your notes. I love the depth this piece has.
Piercing reflections painting painting unbreakable glass. Priceless!
Impacting last line as well.

I am not familiar with this poetic form but it is a lovely one and you have done very well. I cannot count the times I sat at the window in the moonlight and marveled over the sky and sleeping world. Thank you for sharing this!

This is an excellent posting for Gypsy's club entry. While I know the moon is not falling from the sky, the first line by itself implies this in my simple mind. Waxing and waning are moon phases. Wanes instead of falls may be more accurate but does not sound as poetic (-;
The piercing reflections is a terrific phrase. Do like your black and white colors and your artwork for your poem.

Great job with this short. The poem is replete with beautiful imagery. Love the way you described the moon's reflection as unbreakable glass, almost a mirror of life. Light dissipates the darkness. It also speaks of duality- the fragility of life, yet invincible it is with what we make of it.
Well done!
Cheers,
DJ
