I love clouds, always had a thing for clouds, lol. On a good ?Cumulus Day? with a capital ?C?, I could look up for hours from a summer hammock and watch the shape shifters paint pictures.

I'm with you. Loved to lay on summer grass as a child and "imagine" the animals and objects I'd see in the clouds above! Still do love it! Thankfully, I have grandkids so I can still get away with it without having someone report me for dementia! LOL---Karenina

Brilliantly awesome with a kaleidoscope of color.... My granddaughters and I sit on the deck and watch the clouds drift by....(we only have the river but it is gorgeous enough for us). Oh, yes I can gaze for hours at the clouds build and dissipate and build up again, shape shifting across the sky. I wish I had a river to gaze out on ?

The lovely painting and your beautiful words make for a lyrical presentation. The acrostic form is difficult to make flowing but you have skillfully achieved it, with richly descriptive turns of phrase that evoke the scene most artistically.

This is how I like to see acrostic poems written.
Many use static sentences, and the flow is stagnated or simply does not exist.
You weave each line into each, the way it should be. It creates imagery, space and time, giving the reader a view from the soul of the composition.
Despite it being so difficult to do, the imagery, full of colours and movement is above excellent.
It is funny we both wrote about clouds on the same day, without knowing it, and this is impressive. This deserves to be up there battling for the win.
It deserves a crown.
