Hi Sally, what a wonderful story told my sweet friend...
it's something you will always have to remember your mother by...and anything the color blue will bring back beautiful memories of her...

I did not mean to end my last review so bluntly but my laptop was literally dying as I wrote the last word. Doesn't help to travel without one's power cord. Anyway, I love your lune, your author's notes, and Elton John's "Blue Eyes." Thanks for sharing.

What a lovely little lune. I love those little flowers too. So did my mother. Nobody in my family has blue eyes, and I can't say it's something I pay much attention to. Good luck in the contest.

Somewhere dangling from my family tree swings a person with blue eyes, Sally. :) No kidding. There's a splash of Irish in the family. Course, I inherited my brown eyes from the Italian tree. Brothers have dark eyes from the Apache side. This is a good offering for the Lune Poetry Contest.

The formatting for the lune is typically -- left justified -- to create a sort of crescent.

Thank you for the lovely review and for remembering my mother. She dressed me in blue and bought me blue things until she passed. I still have blue ornaments from the blue Christmas tree we had for years. Miss her so. Sending you my best today and many thanks for the kind review,
