Good Morning, Brenda
Your short 80-word flash proves it doesn't take a lot of words to make someone understand or know what "Sweet Talk" is all about. I know I would give anything to hear my husband whisper those sweet words to me again.
Good luck in the contest. It's a winner for me.

What a beautiful poem, with sentiments that are so relatable. Yeah, we all need (and deserve) a little sweet talk, and I do love the way you spoke of being in His arms; it evoked a visceral reaction of both longing and comfort. I love this!

We all could use more sweet talk. Sometimes we feel like we are taken for granted. Some sweet, loving words can make a world of difference. Good luck in the contest!

Even though I do not know you, have never even beheld your no doubt beautiful face; I treasure you, I rate you to be more precious than the rarest jewel. Please allow my voice to caress you in the greatest amount of pleasure, so intense tat it makes me ache with the desire to inflame you with deep passion. Come quickly to my waiting arms as I burn for you.

Is this a review or your own contest entry? In any event; Thanks for the review but no thanks to the invitation if this indeed was meant to be one. As you can probably tell by my entry, I'm already taken and there isn't a man on earth for whom I would exchange him. I'm a one guy gal!

Ha ha. No dear one, I was simply writing in the spirit of the poem. I am a happily married man, my wife and I have been happy together for more that 40 years. i really thought you were inviting reviews written in the same vein as the entry. I apologize for any misconceptions.

No problem. Congratulations on your 40+ years of wedded bliss!

This is a good entry for the 80 word flash fiction. I think your picture choice is well done and your words ring true for man people who could use a bit of sweet talk.

Yes, that 'Sweet Talk' is important in a woman's life. I know I wish my husband of 42 years would say it a little more often. LOL Thank you for sharing your contest entry with us. Good luck.

Nice piece, I enjoyed reading it. It may be more of a poem than a story though. Best of luck with the competition and have yourself a really great day

You've made excellent use of your eighty words. Mostly, when 'He' is capitalised, it's taken to mean God or Jesus but I guess here you're talking about a nearest and dearest.
Good luck in the contest.
