Love this author. There truly is nothing more relaxing than a warm summer's breeze rustling the leaves. It truly is a sound, and sense that cannot be encapsulated by anything else.
Wishing you much luck in the booths. :)

A very beautiful image of serenity, which supports your gentle and lyrical poem. Everything sounds soft (Whisper) and gentle and caring (lullabies). Good wishes for your entry.

This poem really appealed to my heart. Very well done with only 8 perfect words and a great picture. Also I experienced this poem without understand that I had as a child in bed beside an open window. Thanks

Thank you so very much!! I am glad it resonated with you. I also had a bed by an open window and it still thrills me to remember the breezes.

This is a great entry in this eight word contest. A rather haunting narrative in this quite challenging contest. Even more challenging than the Japanese forms, but you've done a great job, well done, good luck, blessings Roy

This is just lovely. It reminds me of a song by Seals and Crofts. You painted a lovely picture in super short verse poetry. Sending you my best today as always and best wishes for the upcoming contest,

Your very short poem describes a summer evening most of us can appreciate, when the "night breezes whisper lullabies" through the trees. Right now our breezes are much too warm and humid. Rod

I'm always amazed at what can come across in a poem in only a few short words. Love the presentation on this as well. Good luck in the contest. This is a strong contender I think.
