Hi Anon,
You are correct! Time IS fleeting and does beg us to enjoy every hour of every day to the fullest, because we aren't going to get them back.
A great reminder to cherish our time given, not to squander it away.

Excellent and makes so much sense. The older you get the more time flies. When I was young, raising my children, it seemed I never had enough time to get it all done. Then I got older and had more time but it seems like everything takes much longer. It is a mystery. :)))

This is a wonderful two-line poem... because you have cleverly shown the fleeting moments as the words seem to dwindle away just the way time does. Plus, you give the reader some excellent advice written in great meter and rhyme. This is an excellent poem, and excellently presented as well. I predict another winner for you. MM

This is a wonderful two-line poem... because you have cleverly shown the fleeting moments as the words seem to dwindle away just the way time does.
