I love lighthouse images, and your poem really touched me, especially the "spark in the dark" and the idea of God as a Landmark. Also, the rhyming is nice. Lovely.

I tried to find words that rhymed with landmark which was the first word I thought of thinking about God.

The lighthouse makes a good metaphor for Faith. It is built on solid ground, it shines out to keep people safely off the rocks and it is a beacon for all who are in danger of becoming lost.

A very spiritual poem. God is said to be the ultimate being in existence, perfect in power, character, that shares the love for everything that exists in this world. Trust in His Love for his children to take you across the sea of life safely. Good luck in the contest!

I appreciate your insightful post .. we are living troubled times .. this pandemic has shown us how fragile we are.. God is the only one that can help us out of this mess which we created ..our arrogance will be our downfall.
