Unless I miscounted, there are 23 lines. Contest sponsor asks for 10-22. Could be a formatting problem or a problem with my screen, but maybe you should check it. Also, sponsor asks that the number of lines be given in author notes.

Thank you for reviewing. I still count 22 lines on a standard desktop computer. Spaces between stanzas are not counted as lines in all organized contests I have seen since 1996. Do you know if this site treats contests differently?

I don't think things are treated differently here. Sometimes, there are formatting issues, but as long as it's OK on your screen, just assume all is well.

Thank you for your kind review. This is sure a popular vacation spot. A friend and I could only see 10 out of 12 vistas due to parking being crowded. Luckily, Inspiration Point and Fairyland were two we could see.

I've only heard of Bryce Canyon but your words took me there and you showed me not only all the colors of that rocks but helped me see how the wildlife interact in that monumental cliff of rocky, dry terrain. My favorite line was " Hear rushed whispers of wind, winding high and husky."
I hope you publish a collection of your Utah nature poems!

Your expressive palette of color words is exciting. Having been there I find the description accurate. The free form of the poem echos well the varied and unpredictable landscape. Kudos for including the movement of animals. Very sating for the mind. Thanks for posting.
